Special Guest: Guy Gavriel Kay

Special Guest GUY GAVRIEL KAY is a noted Tolkien scholar and fantasy writer. He lives in Canada, and he was the Toastmaster at ConFrancisco, the 1993 WorldCon.

Kay's first novels were the landmark fantasy trilogy "The Fionavar Tapestry", consisting of The Summer Tree, The Wandering Fire, and The Darkest Road. A few years later his standalone novel, Tigana, an alternate history set in Italy, was released to great praise. In 1993 his most recent novel, A Song for Arbonne, was published. In addition to his now-standard rave reviews, this novel also achieved bestseller status in Canada.
