DAVID A. CHERRY has been a leading science fiction and fantasy artist for the last decade. Cherry, a largely self-taught classical realist painter, has created artwork for dozens of SF book covers, particularly for DAW. He's done cover illustrations for several books written by his sister, C. J. Cherryh. A few years ago he served as President of ASFA (the Assocation of Science Fiction Artists). A good selection of Cherry's webmaster@fact.orgy work is assembled in Imagination: The Art and Technique of David A. Cherry (1987). David lives in Oklahoma.
