It is a little different this year....
We are all a little beat from WorldCon in San Antonio this year, so we will be holding a relaxicon instead of a full ArmadilloCon. What is a relaxicon you ask? As the name implies it is a social/party convention with very minimal programming, no art show or dealers room. [Though artists and dealers may have books or art available in their rooms]. In keeping with the traditions of Armadillocon 7 [New Braunfels, 1985] and Armadillocon 19 [Hunt, TX 1997] it is in a small hill country resort. The usual practice is hanging out talking, eating, occaisional board games, mah-jong, spades, bridge, eating, movie watching, hiking, swimming and other things friends do when hanging out in a rural area.
How much is it?
The Membership Cost for FACT members will be $40.00 for the weekend, non FACT members $45.00. Breakfasts for Sat and Sunday mornings and a smoked bbq dinner Saturday night are included. Games depends upon what people bring.
