Congratulations to all nominees of the Chesley Awards, but especially to Artist Guest of Honor Stephan Martiniere who has been nominated twice for the Dragons of Babel HB by Michael Swanwick (Tor) and for Artistic Achievement. Also former ArmadilloCon Artist GoH Picacio has been nominated 4 times, for the covers of Fast Forward 2 PB, ed. Lou Anders (Pyr) and Viewpoints Critical: Selected Stories by L. E. Modesitt, Jr HB (Tor), the Asimov's Sept. 08 cover, and Interior Illustration for Elric: The Stealer of Souls by Michael Moorcock (Del Rey). Vincent Villafranca, who has shown work in the art show in the past, has also been nominated in the 3D category for his bronze Otherworldly Procession.
