Gary
Lippincott
Gary Lippincott has always
been interested in fantasy
and imagination—background,
buildings, creatures. He
uses his talent to bring
his concepts to the viewer.
His specialty is fantasy
but he has also done science
fiction and children's books.
He started working in oils
but later moved to the more
delicate and difficult watercolors.
Some of the books he has
illustrated include The

Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher.
He has produced art for the
Science Fiction Book Club,

of Fantasy, The Magazine
of Fantasy and Science Fiction,
and Harcourt & Co.
He graduated from the Maryland
Institute College of Art,
receiving his BFA degree.
In addition to painting he
has taught at the Worcester
Art Museum. He has exhibited
